Just Because I Feel Like It!

Brittany~ For you!

Hi Ho Hi Ho...

I'm such a big fat ho. No, that's not right (well not the ho part). It's off to work I go! This week has been kind of quiet as I've been studying. Yes (I know it's a miracle), I have actually been studying!

I have actually had my first appointment (thank you Barnara!), which I think went well. I think she's gonna buy everything I've got! Ok, I'm just kidding, but it was a great learning experience.

I have wonderful friends who have been willing to help me out. There were even two people willing to make an appointment on fun night (Jack Heine, from Jamie, Jack, & Stench, World Tour) in Burbank just so I could go & get some more practice. While it was my idea, I couldn't do it because IT WAS FUN NIGHT!

I have an appointment today with my aunt (I get see my new little cousin today. Yay!!!) & I was going to bring Marissa with me, but seeing as she's a liar & a thief, that's not going to happen. That little girl lied to my face several times when I asked her where my anti-frizz stuff was & she said she'd seen it, but didn't take it. Then she put on lotion, which she's not supposed to even have in her room because the last time she had it, she used it to stick paper to her wall! She took my lotion from the hall closet. Guess we're gonna have to get a lock for it since she can't be trusted. My poor hubby woke up to me yelling across the house~Oops!

I hope you all have a great weekend!
Peace & Love (& if the kid doesn't start behaving, she's gonna get a kick in the ass!)

Me For Sale...Me For Sale!!!

Feeling a little down today. It's hard to sell me! It sucks when my own family isn't even buying. I think I'll practice here (if I can friggin type right. I've had to go back several times already!)

As you may or may not know, I am now working with Primerica. I'm trying to set up appointments with my family & friends so they can hear the speech & see if they're interested. The goal of Primerica is to get people on the right financial track & prepared for the future. It's a great service. It's hard, though, trying to get the nerve to talk to my family about it. While I think it's a great service, I'm still nervous because I hate trying to sell my friends & family anything.

If you want to see if you can save money on your homeowners or car insurance, please call: 877)855-8111 or log in to http://www.primericasecure.com/. The PIN is RMPM6 & the reps last name is: COGLEY (yep, that's me!). Be sure to have your current insurance policies on hand. The call should only take about 10 minutes for a quote.

So, how did I do? Was I fun & informative? If anyone has any tips, please let me know. I'd appreciate any help I can get!

Monday=Lazy Day

Today has been pretty quiet. I spent the day listening to some music & reading (shh, don't tell). No, I didn't get any studying done, damn it! The problem with me & books is once I start reading, I can't stop until I finish (just read Pride by Rachel Vincent~great book!).

I hope you all had a great Monday! The Mamas & The Papas are my treat for you today.

Foot in Mouth Disease

Foot in Mouth Disease: A most terrible disease which causes you to say inappropriate &/or hurtful things. May cause extreme anger in the people around you &/or loss of friends. Possible cures are pen & paper or the Internet.

I believe I may have this horrible disease & that is why I love the Internet & email. It gives me a chance to edit (censor) my thoughts (ok, it doesn't always work) & what I put out there. If I'm writing an email & I just write something that I think is funny, I can go back & read it before sending. Not everyone gets my sense of humor & I have said many things that can be construed (my big word of the day!) as hurtful. Unfortunately, I don't always review what I wrote, but hey, at least I have the chance.

Anyone who happens to talk to me in person~Sorry! It's not me, it's the disease!

Ok, this song doesn't exactly fit here, but I love some of the awful things he says!

Keep an Eye Out

Once I figure out how to do it (I'm a computer idiot), I will be posting for a fundraiser. As y'all know, I will be walking in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in September (if I can get my fat ass off the couch, that is). Here is the link directly to my page, if you'd like to donate, I'd appreciate it. If you're one of those people who feel they should get something for their money, keep an eye out because I will be posting some items on here for you to buy. The proceeds will go to the walk.
Hopefully, I will get this figured out soon!

Why it's Good to Have an Electrician in the House

This, my dear friends, is my 5 year old's science project. My hubby (the electrician) made her a homemade flashlight using 4 AAs, some wire, a mini light bulb, & the switch from one of his old RC cars(more appropriate for an older student's project, but hey, it still kicks ass!). Ok, so the project was due yesterday (when he did it), but he felt she still needed a project to bring in today.
Here's what she & I learned: Direct current amperage flows from negative to positive (or positive to negative).
What I learned: He is going to be helping w/the rest of her science projects for the rest of her school days!
Ok, there are other reasons why it's good to have an electrician in the house:
  • Can put a fan up where there was nothing
  • He can move plugs around
  • He can attach our tv to the wall without having wires show & have the working Dvd player across the room.
  • He can change ugly plugs & switches with pretty ones with no problems
  • He can explain to me all the things that I don't understand (about electicity~as my eyes glaze over)

I hope you all have a great Friday & a wonderful weekend! I'm off to attempt to study!

Random thoughts

While sitting in class last night (when I should have probably been listening) I had these thoughts:
  • Marriage is contagious & going around~Congrats to Tricia & Steve & to my nephew Adam & his new fiance Crystal. Screw Valentine's Day, this last weekend seemed to be the time to become engaged (or to share w/the family).
  • I have severe problems keeping my goals.
  • Twitter is evil (see above).
  • Man, this lady's perfume is killing me! Why women love the floral perfumes is beyond me & why they feel the need to pour it on just plain kills me!
  • I'm thirsty...If I get up now, will someone steal my seat?
  • Am I the only tattooed person here?
  • It seems like these people are a bunch of cheerleaders, they are so perky...Why did they think I'd fit in?
  • Wow, I need to get my nails done.
  • These chairs are uncomfortable.
  • What should I be doing tomorrow?
  • Are we going to reschedule our Passion Party?
  • Wonder what Eric & M are doing?
  • I want some M&M's.

I don't know why I can't get anything accomplished. As you can see, I am completely focused in all that I do.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Ok, the goal setting didn't work. The only thing I accomplished yesterday was watching the first Pirates & sleeping through the second. I have an excuse (heartburn which made me nauseous), but I fear there will always be an excuse. Nothing got done for the blog, the bathrooms still need cleaning & very little studying got done (I did do a little, though). I feel a little better today, so I'm going to try this again (as I have At World's End on in the background). Today I have class, so I'd like to actually have gone through a couple more chapters (notice I lowered the number again). Part of my problem is that I don't like silence, yet if I turn on music or something on tv, then I can't concentrate.

Oh! Before I forget, Happy St. Patty's Day! I have green tattooed onto me, so I don't have to worry about clothing...not that I was worried. Anyone who tries to pinch me is going to get kicked in the ass.

I hope you all have a wonderful day! In honor of St. Patrick's Day, I'll leave you with some Celtic Music. I love Loreena McKennitt!

Sometimes Life Just Gets in the Way

I always have the best of intentions. I plan on spending time on a blog, looking for a job, doing my online studying, but it seems that something always seems to come up. We have to go to Target, go to the in-laws, we have psycho dogs terrorizing our house, or play on Twitter or Facebook, etc...

Does anything that I had wanted to do get done? No. There are loads of laundry waiting to be done, bathrooms that need to be cleaned & a computer class just calling my name, telling me I need to get my ass in gear. What am I doing? I'm writing instead.

Someone needs to teach me how to make a schedule & stick to it. I want to get everything done, but it always seems that there is something else to do (Damn you, Pirates!)

I am going to make it my goal (for the month) to try to stick to a schedule. I know I will feel like a better person for it.

My goal list for tomorrow:
  • Study-I want to get through at least 3 chapters (I was gonna say 4, but lets keep it realistic).
  • Work on this blog to try to make it better
  • Clean bathrooms
  • Pirates of the Caribbean (Hey, I must do what is on the list!)

I'm trying to start off small & hopefully I can accomplish these things & work at growing to be a better person. Wish me luck!

Peace & Love.

I Hear Angels!!!

I am so happy they're gone (the devil wienerdogs)! It almost feels like I've had them here for a year. My mom apologized for the little destructors & has said that it's the puppy hotel for them next time.

The house smells like piss & needs a thorough cleaning, but I am so happy I could dance (trust me no one wants to see that). Even Eric is smiling.

Counting Down Until Momma's Monsters Go Home

Hooray for Sunday! Today is the day my parents are back from vacation & coming to pick up their little beasts of destruction (ok, they're 2 wienerdogs). For anyone who may have missed it, here is a list of their infractions (most of which done in the first 3 days of their visit).

  • Pee on the sliding glass door (within the first 5 min. of being here)

  • Pee on the carpet (also within the first 5 min.)

  • Pee on the couch (twice now!)

  • Pee/poop in my daughter's bathroom

  • Peeing/pooping several more times in my house

  • My slider's drape & rod ripped out of the wall

  • One of the little monsters proceeded to the shit on that same drape~twice

  • Trying to dig to China in my carpet

  • Trying to eat his way out of my kitchen to the outside world...through my kitchen wall

I love my parents, but I don't think we'll be puppysitting again. I just don't think my poor house can take anymore!

Peace & Love.

No Longer at the Innsane...Obviously

I will be polishing this up, making it more me, but I just wanted to take the time to say "Hi" & "I'm baaaack!"

For anyone with questions about what happened, please note there is absolutely no animosity between Kadi & myself. Miss Kadi is a busy girl with a lot on her plate. And while I couldn't hold down the Innsane on my own, she has enough faith in me to push my ass into doing another blog. I almost said no because I was afraid I destroyed The Innsane. All of Kadi's readers love her (with good reason) & that left me with pretty big shoes to fill.

For anyone new, who doesn't know me: Hi, my name is Kim & I will be your server tonight. I am a 30 year old wife, mother & all around pain in the ass. I wish I had ADD because it would explain a lot about my thought process, but I don't think I do.

"I'm a joker. I'm a smoker. I'm a midnight toker." Ok, I'm only a smoker, but it sounded good. A lot of my thoughts are in song, which confuses some people (Kadi thought I was a really good writer every time I would send her the lyrics to whatever song was in my head.)

I am currently unemployed, but working on a new venture. I am probably the shittiest Avon Lady there is.

I have a few tattoos (If 6 counts as a few) & will probably end up with a few more. Here's a pic of my latest, courtesy of our Moms Gone Wild Day.

I will be walking in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer again this year, so the smoking will have to come to an end sometime soon.

Peace & love be with you. And if that doesn't work for you, how about a kick in the keister?

Thank you for visiting & I hope you come back soon!
