Clearing Some Things Up About the Timeshare

I'm sure some of you are a little confused about the Timeshare Promotion that I have going for the Avon Walk. Hopefully, this clears some things up for you. If not, please ask me!!
  • There will be no selling. You do not have to sit through a speech. This week of timeshare has been donated by my wonderful parents. You just have to show up (once when & where has been all set up) & enjoy!
  • You do not have to go out of the country. My mom put exotic locations in to give people ideas of where they can go. If you want to go somewhere semi-local to you, that is not a problem. Ex: I am in So Cal. Say I want to go to San Diego, San Francisco or somewhere in between, it is totally doable.
  • Any donation is tax deductible. If you were to donate online, save your receipt. If you were to donate by mail (check), you would just have to save the copy of your check.
  • Money is tight right now & you don't want to go anywhere (you don't want to pay for gas, airfare, etc.). You have until July of 2010 to use it.
  • $50 is a lot. For week long accommodations, it's not really, since most places cost double that a night. I don't expect everyone to give me $50. If you do, I greatly appreciate it. Your money is going to a wonderful cause. Every little bit helps. Remember, I may have a little something special for anyone who donates ANYTHING! The $50 is just to be entered for the timeshare.

Hopefully, I covered everything. If not, please comment or email me at kimberlycogley@yahoo.com.

Again, if you'd like to donate, please click HERE & it will take you to my page with the Avon Walk.

I really do appreciate you all for any donations you give & any emotional support (it helps more than you know), as well.

It's Almost Friday Already!

So far it's been a pretty great week for me. I've still spent way too much time on Facebook & Twitter, got some naps in (pms is a real bitch!), & played more on the computer than I should have, but I've been semi-productive too!

As you can see, I've pertified my blog (not that the Poshpreneur didn't make it lovely before) by myself & made it just a little more me. (It took me over an hour to get the color scheme just right.)

I'm working to help save my bff money every month (I hope we can help her!). By doing so, I'm also getting in more training. Did I mention that I passed my test last week? In about a week I will be licensed to sell life insurance. I passed my debt certification. I'm doing all this to try to help people save money now & help them learn to save for the future (especially since we all know that by the time we're ready for Social Security, it'll be a thing of the past).

I got buttloads of laundry folded & put away (yes, my life is oh so exciting!)

I managed to find someone to take not only my kid (for the next 13 or so years), but 2 of Brittany's along with both of our husbands! We hope to go on vacation to some beach w/drinks that have those cute little umbrellas with the proceeds. (My fantasy world is great. As I told a friend, most people dream about hot chicks or men, but I dream of selling a cranky hubby & 5 yr old.)

I nearly fell asleep in class on Tuesday (it's not that it wasn't interesting, cuz it was. I was just having major problems keeping my eyes open!

I got to look at amazing pics of my embarrassing crush. Ahhhhhh...

And it's only Thursday!

Tomorrow should be interesting~it's Pet Day at school. We'll see how our 4 month old puppy (Haley) does. Wish me luck because I'm sure I'll need it!

I absolutely looooove me some Tori!

Reliving the Old Days

One of the nice (& not so nice) things about being an adult is being able to put your life in perspective (kinda). You see the things you did wrong when you were younger. One of my friends & I were talking about it the other day. When I was younger, I would hurt people & not realize it or just not care. It's hard being a growed up person & thinking about the things I have done. I see a lot of things that I shouldn't have done, people I should have apologized to. I'd go into more details, but...(Hi Mom!) As I got older, I tried harder to be a better person. It doesn't always work out that way, but I do my best. Ok, I wasn't an awful person, but I could have been better. The goal for the future is to not make the same mistakes as you did in the past. You can't please everyone all the time, so just be you (Thank you Kadi. Got that from Twitter!). Don't walk on eggshells around everyone, but try to remember all the people you don't want to hurt. One of the things that set off my thinking is this pic. (Can you believe how thin I was?!)

Happy Post-Mother's Day to All the Mommies

I hope everyone had a great Mommy's Day! I had a wonderful day. I got a pedicure with my mommy & went & had dinner with my mother in-law. My daughter was nice to me (for most of the day) & so was the hubby!

I studied last week like a good girl, but still have not taken my test because I'm a tard. I got lost in San Diego & drove around in circles for about an hour. Stupid one-way streets! I will reschedule because I am ready to take that damn test. I just want to get it done already!!

I am still working on my fundraiser (yes, I've been walking some, too) for the Avon Walk, but I can tell y'all now that for anyone who donates $50 or more within the next month or 2 (I'll let you know when the details are finalized) will be entered into a raffle to win a week long timeshare to your destination of choice, depending on availability. For anyone who donates (anything), please email me at kimberlycogley@yahoo.com with your name, address & telephone # & I may have a special little treat for you! To get to my Avon Walk page, please click here.

I have been lax on the writing to y'all, but it's for a good cause, I swear (me trying to earn income is a great cause!). I will try to do better.

I hope everyone is having a great day & I hope you have a great week!

Peace & Love.
